Dunvegan View is located on the east coast of the Isle of Harris, also known as The Bays for its miniature fjords. 15 mins from Tarbert ferry. 15-20 mins from Luskentyre beach.

Vehicle ferries (run by Caledonian MacBrayne) travel from Ullapool to Stornoway (Isle of Lewis) or from Uig (Isle of Skye) to either Lochmaddy (Isle of North Uist) or direct to Tarbert (Isle of Harris). There is also a vehicle ferry connecting Leverburgh (Harris) and Berneray (North Uist).

Flights to StornowayHighland Airways run a flight from Inverness daily. British Airways operate flights from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. British Midland also run a flight from Edinburgh.

Road Directions:-
From Stornoway – follow A859 which heads all the way to Tarbert.
From Tarbert - follow B859 south for approx. four miles, past the tourist information booth in layby on left and not taking the Golden Road on left, but take next left turn signpost for Greosabhagh. Follow on for another three miles to Cluer. Dunvegan View is the second house on the right.
From Leverburgh – the east coast road (Golden Road) is narrow and twisting so the easiest route is to head west along the B859 past Seilebost, taking the first right turn signpost for Stockinish, then first left to Cluer(Cliuther). Dunvegan View is the third house on the left.
